TERMS & CONDITIONS OF VEHICLE RENTAL

Thank you for choosing LISS Car Rentals. Our commitment is to provide safe, reliable, and professional chauffeur-driven transportation services across Lagos, Abuja, and other destinations within Nigeria.

By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Chauffeur-Driven Service Only

All vehicles rented through LISS Car Rentals are provided exclusively with a dedicated professional driver/chauffeur.

For safety, insurance, and operational reasons:

  • Self-drive rentals are not available.
  • Clients are not permitted to operate or drive any LISS vehicle.
  • Only LISS-employed and authorized drivers shall operate company vehicles.

2. Rental Duration

Within Lagos or Abuja:

  • 6-Hour Rental
  • 12-Hour Rental
  • 24-Hour Rental
  • Out-of-State: 24-Hour Rental
  • Multi-Day Rental (subject to prior approval and quotation)
  • Additional hours beyond the agreed rental period attract overtime charges.

3. Identification Requirements

Every renter must provide valid government-issued identification.

  • Nigerian Driver's License
  • National ID
  • International Passport
  • Voter's Card
  • NIN Slip or other acceptable government ID

4. Booking Confirmation

Reservations are confirmed only after:

  • Vehicle availability is verified.
  • Identification is received.
  • Payment is completed.
  • LISS issues booking confirmation.

5. Payment Policy

  • Full payment before service unless agreed otherwise.
  • Vehicles are dispatched only after payment confirmation.

6. Included Services

  • Professional chauffeur
  • Fuel (within agreed limits)
  • Insurance
  • Routine maintenance
  • Customer support

7. Additional Charges

  • Overtime
  • Waiting time
  • Driver accommodation
  • Interstate travel
  • Tolls
  • Parking
  • Airport parking
  • Cleaning
  • Passenger damage

8. Driver Welfare

  • Treat drivers respectfully.
  • Do not request traffic violations.
  • Allow meal/rest breaks.
  • Provide accommodation where applicable.

9. Passenger Conduct

  • No smoking.
  • No illegal substances.
  • No dangerous items.
  • No abusive conduct.

10. Vehicle Usage

  • Lawful purposes only.
  • No criminal activity.
  • No illegal goods.
  • No reckless use.

11. Delays and Force Majeure

LISS is not liable for delays due to events beyond reasonable control such as traffic, weather, road closures, civil unrest or government restrictions.

12. Cancellation Policy

  • Over 24 hours: refund/reschedule may apply.
  • Less than 24 hours: cancellation fees may apply.
  • No refunds after dispatch.

13. Privacy

Customer information is used only for booking, security, operational and legal purposes and is disclosed only where required by law.

14. Liability

  • LISS is not responsible for personal belongings left in vehicles.
  • Not liable for delays beyond reasonable control.
  • Not liable for losses caused by incorrect booking information.

15. Corporate Accounts

  • Corporate billing
  • Monthly invoicing
  • Dedicated fleet
  • Priority reservations
  • Custom SLAs subject to approval.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes should first be resolved amicably before legal proceedings.
